Aglaonema Pattaya Beauty is a colourful indoor plant with broad, glossy foliage marked in green, silver and pink. Its compact size and tolerance of indoor conditions make it a practical choice for Dubai homes and offices.

Best light indoors
Place the plant in low to moderate indirect light. Brighter filtered light can help maintain its colourful variegation, but strong direct sun through a window may scorch the leaves. Keep it a little away from hot glass and harsh afternoon rays.
Watering in Dubai
Check the potting mix before watering. Water thoroughly when the top 2 to 5 cm feels dry, then allow excess water to drain. Air-conditioned rooms and seasonal changes affect how quickly soil dries, so use the soil as your guide instead of following a fixed calendar. Never leave the nursery pot standing in water.
Temperature and humidity
Aglaonema prefers warm, stable indoor conditions and should be protected from cold air-conditioning drafts. Normal household humidity is usually acceptable, although moderately humid air helps keep the foliage looking its best. Keep some airflow around the plant without placing it directly under an AC vent.
Soil, pot and feeding
Use a loose, well-draining indoor potting mix and a container with drainage holes. Repot when roots crowd the container, moving up only one pot size. During active growth, apply a balanced houseplant fertiliser at the label rate; reduce feeding when growth slows.
Cleaning and common problems
Wipe the broad leaves gently with a damp cloth so they can collect light efficiently. Yellow leaves and soft stems can indicate soil that stays too wet, while brown edges may be linked to very dry air, drafts or inconsistent watering. Check leaf undersides and stems for mealybugs, scale and spider mites.
